A new colorway of the Nike KD 16 was spotted recently through Nike EYBL Instagram account. This KD 16 “Academy” colorway seems to be strictly only for EYBL members as of right now. 

This colorway has a different range of colors on the sneaker: the upper seems to be dressed in aqua, the overlay in a dark blue with speckles on it, and the tpu and half of the midsole seems to be dressed in an aqua tone. The heel part of the midsole is white with speckles on it. The Nike swooshes are mismatched with orange and purple swooshes. 

There is no official release date yet on this Nike KD 16 “Academy”, but it does seem to be a pair strictly for EYBL members.

Nike Basketball Set to Relaunch the Kobe Brand in Time for Kobe Day

The Kobe Brand will be relaunched by Nike Basketball in time for Kobe Day on August 24. This eagerly anticipated return will include the unveiling of a brand-new Nike Kobe basketball sneaker in addition to a new assortment of throwback Nike Kobes. On August 10, we’ll get a sneak preview.

According to Nike CEO John Donahoe, the Kobe Brand will begin the next stage of the Black Mamba’s lasting influence on basketball with Nike Basketball, the latest shoe to be shown on August 10 during the SNKRS “Live From The Archive” segment, which will be available in North America. A countdown timer suggests that the album will be released on August 23, Kobe Bryant’s birthday. According to Vanessa Bryant, the shoe in question is the all-white Nike Kobe 8 Protro “Halo”.

From this teaser, not much else can be inferred. The sneak peek provides a glimpse of the Kobe signature line’s trademark low-top basketball design. It’s crucial to keep in mind that this teaser could potentially indicate the introduction of a new color option for existing sneakers. According to Vanessa Bryant, the shoe in question is the all-white Nike Kobe 8 Protro “Halo”. The Nike GT Cut 2 receives a pink colorway but it’s not labeled as “think pink,” it’s supposedly going to be just a regular team colorway expected to release later this year. 

The upper comes dressed in pink Integrated with white mesh/knit throughout the upper, a white tongue, and a dark pink shiny swoosh. The midsole also comes dressed in white with the outsole being a split like design with dark shade of pink on the forefoot and white on the heels, and The TPU heelcounter is dressed in pink. As for technology features it does seem to feature an air zoom unit.  

No official release date has been announced as of yet but for now take an official look down below at this GT Cut 2 Pink colorway.

Nike Sabrina 1 Team Colorways Coming Soon

The Nike Sabrina 1 has technically been released through the custom NikeByYou website but its official release date in the USA will be in September. 

Nike plans on releasing team colorways for the Sabrina 1 in Black, Green, yellow and gray color schemes. The sneaker features Nike Air Zoom and Nike react on the midsoles and it also features stitching throughout the sneakers upper, a stitched Nike Swoosh on top of a semi-translucent upper, a logo patch at the tongue with an “S”. 

The green pair is being called the “Green Apple” and the yellow pair “University Gold” is paying homage to Sabrina’s  Ionescu’s time with the University of Oregon, where she reached a career milestone of 2,000 points. 

The Black “Oreo” and gray “Wolf Gray” pairs are team colorways that Nike releases for some signature sneakers to match. 

The Sabrina 1 is available for customization on Nike Canada’s website or Nike Japan. It is not available yet in the United States, but the official release date is expected to be in September with a retail price of $130 USD.

LeBron James starts his twenty-first season campaign by revealing his twenty first signature sneaker with Nike. LeBron took to social media app Instagram to reveal the all new LeBron 21 sneakers. 

The LeBron 21 is familiar in terms of looks to the LeBron 20 which was its predecessor. The LeBron 21 seems to be a mid-cut sneaker compared to the predecessor. The LeBron 21 has a heel tab for more durability and protection. No technology features have been announced yet but it could be assumed the LeBron 21 will have Nike Zoom technology. 

The colorway LeBron revealed seems to be a “wheat” colorway and the other pair he was seen wearing was during a shoot around basketball session that was a cream colorway with hints of gold. 

No official release date has been released as of yet, but these are expected to release before the start of the 2023-2024 NBA Season in which LeBron will be suiting up for his twenty first season.
