Nike N7 Winter 2020 Collection Set to Hit Shelves

Just in time to coincide with Native American Heritage Month, Nike reveals its second installment of its 2020 N7 collection to close out the year. Celebrating the proud history of Native Americans and Indigenous peoples in North America.

This collection features an Air Max 1, SB Blazer GT Low, and Kyrie 6, each sneaker honors Indigenous communities with a special connection to Kyrie Irving and his Standing Rock Sioux Tribe heritage. Featuring patterns taken from a star quilt and medallion bestowed on the NBA star during his naming ceremony.

The Nike Air Max 1 N7 comes dressed in a Taupe Haze, Light Orewood Brown, Atomic Orange, and Citron Pulse color scheme. Featuring a raised haptic graphic honoring the vibrant patterns of certain Native artwork while paying tribute to the gifts given at the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe’s traditional naming ceremonies. The iconic look is completed with a rubber waffle outsole and soft suede upper.

The same raised haptic graphic takes center stage as the design is the main focus on the Nike Blazer Low, with Black and Citron Pulse color scheme honoring the vibrant patterns of certain Native artworks. A large retro Swoosh logo and padded, low-cut collar in Black accent the original hoops icon.

And Lastly the the Kyrie 6 N7 in a Black, Pure Platinum, and Citron Pulse color scheme. The raised haptic graphic is featured adjustable strap and a panel on the mid-height collar.

“Everything that comes with my background is something I’ve always accepted, but I didn’t necessarily understand it until now,” Irving said of his Indigenous roots. “The immense pride I feel comes from this journey I’ve been on, this rediscovery I’ve made in my adult life.”

Along with the Nike N7 Winter 2020 collection matching apparel including hoodies, T-Shirts, and leggings. The full collection will be released tomorrow, Nov. 13 exclusively from nike.com and select Hibbett Sports doors. Nike adds that the Kyrie 6 will be restocked at select locations.
