A new era is underway with Kyrie Irving set to receive his first signature shoe with Anta which is slated to release in early March. Irving had left Nike before the launch of his Kyrie 8 which Nike scrapped due to differences between the two.
The Anta Kai 1 features in terms of technology and carbon fiber midfoot plate, responsive midsole cushioning and a TPU sidewall at the lateral side of the shoe for stability. The shoe itself is a mid-cut upper and also has a midfoot strap for secure lockdown support similar to the Nike Kyrie 6. The outsole has a multidirectional pattern with Anta and Kyrie branding as well. The colorway has a purple upper with pink hints throughout the shoe like the TPU plate on the sides of the sneakers, and it also has a cream colored midsole and outsole.
The Anta Kai 1 “Artist On Court” will be released on March 6, 2024 for $125 USD on the Anta website and rumored to release at very select few retailers.
