Nike Devin Booker 1 Official Look

Devin Booker has taken to Instagram his signature sneaker with Nike which is the first in line of many sneakers to release. Booker has been teasing his sneaker all week and has been seeing filming videos and adding a vintage feel to it.

Booker recently revealed the Booker 1 “For All The Dogs” colorway which is all orange in reference to the Phoenix Suns which is the team he plays for. It’s uncertain if this pair was made specially for Drake who’s next upcoming album is titled “For All The Dogs” and Booker was seen at a Drake Concert a few weeks ago. Drake and Booker have been known to have a good friendship but it is unclear if this colorway is inspired by the music artist. As far as technology feature goes there is no official statement on that but it can be assumed that it will feature Nike zoom as most Nike Basketball sneakers have that feature.

The Devin Booker 1 is slated to release in the spring of 2024 just before the NBA playoffs begin. Booker will be chasing his first NBA Finals win in his new Nike D Book 1s.

Primetime Preview: Kansas City Chiefs Vs Detroit Lions (TNF Week 1)

The NFL season is upon us once again and we get a matchup of two teams that are ready to prove themselves this season. The Chiefs look to defend their throne and show the world why they are the Superbowl Champs. The Lions are trying to break a playoff drought since 2016. The Lions got going late last year and were firing on all cylinders. Jared Goff said in a report that he’ll embrace a shootout against the Chiefs as for the first time these two Quarterbacks met in a regular season the Jared Goff’s Rams beat the Chiefs 54-51.

The Chiefs are aiming to go back to back this season, however the Chiefs lost a couple main pieces from the championship team they had last year in JuJu Smith-Schuster. This season they’re going to be with out their start tight end as he hyper extended his knee as reports broke yesterday on September 5^th. Any team will fear the Chiefs as long as Patrick Mahomes is leading the team and coming out slinging every week.

The Lions are looking to make the playoffs and win the NFC North, in a year where the NFC North isn’t as strong as it was last year from the Vikings losing key players and the Bears are still in the middle of a rebuild. The Lions may surprise some fans this year. If Jared Goff isn’t the answer at QB they took a player that should’ve been a Heisman’s finalist if he didn’t get injured last season in Hendon Hooker.

This game to start the season will have plenty of fireworks as the two electric offenses take the field Thursday night for a primetime game to open the season, these two teams will not disappoint in what should be a thriller of a game as Mahomes is much watch TV for fans around the world, and the hungry young Lions will look to shock the NFL defending champs

Nike And Vanessa Bryant Announce “Mamba Programs”

Nike and Vanessa Bryant have a clear vision for the Kobe Bryant line which will see sneakers and clothing released in the future. But even more news has been revealed that Vanessa Bryant will be selecting a few NCAA basketball teams to the “Mamba Programs” for the 2023-24 college basketball season.

Colleges that were selected include University of Connecticut, University of Southern California, University of Kentucky, University of Oregon, Duke University, and Louisiana State University. These colleges will receive player exclusive Kobe sneakers and other gear. Similar to when the Men’s USA Basketball team received Player Exclusive Nike Kobe 6s.

It’s likely that the sneakers won’t be released to the public and will remain exclusive to the collegiate athletes. Vanessa Bryant and Nike have slowly been releasing more and more updates about the Kobe Bryant line and it’s been all good news.

The Minnesota Lynx Clinch Playoff Berth After Defeating The Mercury (86-73)

The Minnesota Lynx put on a defensive clinic against the Dream on Friday. Tonight that tried their best to follow that up as they went against Brittney Griner and the Phoenix Mercury. The Lynx knew coming into this game that they were one win away from a playoff spot in the WNBA Playoffs.

This game started out very sluggish on both ends but the Lynx quickly turned that around in the 2nd half. Phoenix was led by Moriah Jefferson who was clearly on one tonight as the young people say. She finished the game with 32 points and her teammate Brittney Griner was unstoppable as well with 17 points and 10 rebounds. The Lynx slowed the Mercury team down and focused on allowing their leaders to get the minimum. Dorka Juhasz is a rookie but I’ve already promoted her to sophomore the way she’s played this season. She’s had a physical weekend after dealing with the Dreams Parker and now dealing with Griner. Dorka was able to defend at a high level and she finished with 10 points, 12 rebounds, and 8 assists. Dorka’s looking like the steal of the WNBA Draft with her play this season by far.

Napheesa Collier became the 1st player in WNBA History to have consecutive games with 20 points, 15 rebounds, and 3 blocks. Her game this season has been on another level and if she continues at this pace the Lynx will be tough to beat. Napheesa gave the Mercury problems tonight as she was able to grab offensive rebounds and get to her spots with ease tonight. When Phee plays like this the Lynx can only be stopped by themselves. Napheesa put the team on her back in that second half and was determined to lead this team to the postseason. Napheesa didn’t do it alone as her running mate Kayla McBride was shooting lights out and finished with 23 points. This has been my 1st season watching Kayla in person and her game is legit. The way that she’s been able to score but lockdown on the opposing offense has been special. She did that tonight as the Mercury had no answers for her or the Lynx.

The Lynx are heading to the 2023 WNBA Playoffs and the only thing we wait for now is seeding for what will shape out to be a very competitive run. Shoutout to Coach Reeve on her 300th Career Win in the WNBA as well.

Nike KD 16 “Deep Royal” Official Look

Kevin Durant laced up his “Deep Royal” colorway back in the playoffs in April and is set to release in October. Nike has been very busy this year with Kevin Durant as he’s received a lifetime deal with Nike, the return of the KD 3, and the release of the KD 16.

This “Deep royal” colorway has many vibrant colors on it beginning with the upper as it does come dressed in blue and purple but separated by a 3M line which means that if there is flash photography or certain lighting conditions it can be reflective. The midsole is seen in white but the forefoot area of the sneaker is dressed in aqua along with the outsole and TPU cage on the medial and lateral sides of the sneaker. KD branding is seen in purple along with Nike branding.

No official release date has been announced yet for this “Deep Royal” Nike KD 16 but will retail with a price of $160 USD.

Puma MB.03 “LaFrance” Colorway Coming Soon

Charlotte Hornets superstar LaMelo Ball third signature sneaker with Puma will be released in October in collaboration with his lifestyle brand “LaFrance”.

The Puma MB.03 “LaFrance” is very similar to the Puma MB.03 “Slime” with the majority of the shoe being dressed in green. The uppers of the MB.03 feature floral patterns dressed in black representing the luxurious style in France. The midsole comes dressed in green with the outsole being a different shade of green, the outsole also stretches onto the upper and also has Lamelos signature phrase “Rare” on the outsoles. The Puma branding on the heels are shown in green and the LaMelo branding in brown to stand out from the bright green.

This Puma MB.03 is slated to launch on October 6th of 2023 right before the start of the NBA season. These will be available on the LaFrance website and Puma website.
