Russell Westbrook’s one of the most dynamic point guards in the history of the NBA. This season Russ was able to go home and play for his hometown LA Lakers in front of family/friends. On the season he averaged 18.5 PPG, 7.4 RPG, and 7.1 APG while embracing the challenge of anything that the coaching staff asked of him. Russell Westbrook gets targeted in the national media a lot but they’ve never given Russ credit for adapting his game to anyone he plays with on the court.

 

Russ never cheats the NBA or the fans when it comes to effort and energy on a nightly basis. The style of play from Russell Westbrook gains the respect of his NBA peers and one thing about the “Brodie” is he will give it his all to be great. On and off the court Mr. Why Not has proven his haters wrong and will continue to do so no matter his situation.

In the year he’s rocked some of the dopest PEs as he continues to be one of the true PE Kings in the NBA. Following a Black and White iteration officially revealed in December of last year, new images have surfaced revealing another pair of Stüssy x Nike Air Force 1 Mids featured in black monochromatic uppers. Celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the Air Force 1 this Stussy x Nike Air Force 1 Mid will be arriving during Spring 2022.

The pairs arrive in a matte leather base featuring gloss-black side Swooshes, Stussy branding appears throughout including its co-branded tongue tags and insoles, double “S” perforations at the toe box, jewel embellishments on the heels, and Stussy text on the strap. A White midsole atop a Black rubber outsole completes the design.

Becoming an annual tradation, NIKE, Inc. will be releasing a new  “Be True” collection celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community, for Pride Month 2022. Taking part of the lineup this year is a “Be True” edition of the SB Dunk Low.

This offering of the Nike SB Dunk Low features a white leather base with wear-away overlays that changes colors in the sun. Multi-color flair also animates the branding on the top of the tongue and the sock-liners, while solid yellow and green take over upper heel panels, respectively. Lastly, a neon-highlighted “Nike SB” logo appears in the center of the tried-and-proven traction underfoot.

After closer inspection, reveals some playful details on the low-top SB Dunk, the colors of the rainbow are recreated via the stitching that keeps the profile swooshes in place, matching the stitching on the heel and the “BE TRUE” text on the lateral heel well.

Celebrating the 1995-96 NBA Championship season where the Chicago Bulls achieved a 72-10 regular-season record, setting the best regular-season record in NBA History. Back in December 2015, Jordan Brand debuted the Air Jordan 11 “72-10.” For 2022, the brand will revisit the theme with the release of the Air Jordan 11 Low “72-10” during the summer months.

This Air Jordan 11 Low features a Black leather upper and tongue paired with black suede material on the eyelets and heels. Additional details include a glossy Black patent leather mudguard with gym red contrasting accents. A white midsole atop a milky translucent outsole with a special message on the inside tongue tag that reads, “Inspired by the most historic season led by the greatest player ever” completes the design.

During SNKRS’s preview of the Jordan Retro Spring/Summer 2022 lineup, viewers of the live stream got a preview of each model and the expected release date. During this live, we were shown a brand new Air Jordan 4 “Military Black.” Despite the Jumpman teasing us with the golf version of the Air Jordan 4 “Military Blue,” it appears that the creatives are trying to appease our disappointments with this upcoming silhouette.

Now that we get an accurate description of the upcoming release, this offering of the Air Jordan 4 comes in a similar color blocking as the “Military Blue” release, but all the Blue details will be replaced with Black. The rest of the shoe features a White leather base with Neutral Grey overlays. All three colors, White, Black, and Grey, will appear on the rubber outsole.

It’s hard to believe that the partnership of Kevin Durant and Nike is getting closer to seeing that two-decade mark, and arriving just in time for the 2022 NBA Playoffs Durant’s next signature shoe. The KD 15, arrives in Brooklyn Nets colors with bright accents.

Featuring a predominantly White upper with Black accents found throughout. Much like the KD 14, the KD 15 comes in a lower cut with an external cage for lockdown support. Next, we have sole comes equipped with full-length Zoom Air cushioning as well as Cushlon foam. You’ll also notice the Presto-inspired midfoot strap has been removed.
