Trae Young, Atlanta Hawks (SneakerReporter Top 10 PEs Series)

Featured

Trae Young entered the league in 2018 and has been nothing short of spectacular. Young has proven that size doesn’t matter when you’re one of the best shooters in the world. From Norman to Atlanta this man Trae Young has let it be known that he’s a professional bucket getter. On the season Trae averaged 28.4 PPG and 9.7 AST for the Atlanta Hawks. He’s been a true leader and someone that the whole city of Atlanta has embraced.

Even though the season didn’t end the way that Trae Young and the Hawks would like in 2022. The Hawks have a bright future and a star that’s leading them in the right direction for the future. The Hawks were in the Eastern Conference Finals last year and with the emergence of Trae Young, they will be back very soon. Ice Trae has shown that he can score and get his teammates involved at an elite rate in the NBA throughout his early career. Young can hit you for 50 points and turn around then give you 15 assists. That’s how much his game has matured in a short span of time and he will only get better in ATL under Nate McMillian.

The Adidas Trae Young 1 was on full display in the 2021-2022 season. This year he’s rocked some of the dopest PEs as he continues to put Atlanta on the map. Adidas always laces Trae with some crazy colorways that aren’t available to the public but they always hope for a public release soon after. The Adidas Trae Young 1 had some dope colorways that were released to the public that can be seen below before all the PEs. Check out the Adidas Trae Young 1 PEs and let us know if you agree with the order of the list as well.

SneakerReporter NFL (Top Ten Games of the 2022 NFL Season)

SneakerReporter NFL (Top Ten Games of the 2022 NFL Season)

Featured

The 2022 NFL schedule has been released and we have some great games to watch this season. We are in for a very competitive and exciting season in 2022. The rookies are looking to make their impact and some old faces in new places. And of course, the defending champs Los Angeles Rams looking to run it back for a 2nd straight championship. Let’s go over my top 10 games to watch this season.

(Week 1) Denver Broncos vs. Seattle Seahawks: In week one we have Russel Wilson in Seattle but this time as a Denver Bronco. Russel looking to start the season with a win against his former team in what most would call a revenge game but don’t this one should be considered as the organization and Russel Wilson was on good terms when the trade was made. A warm welcome is expected when Russel walks out the tunnel on the first Monday Night Football game of the season.

(Week 1) Oakland Raiders vs Los Angeles Chargers: Derek Carr earned the extension he received to stay with the Raiders, and he looks to continue to improve from the previous season. Raiders with major improvement after arguably adding the best receiver in the league in Davante Adams. Chargers and Justin Herbert look to start the season with a win in hopes of making the playoffs this season after barely missing a playoff berth after an amazing week 17 matchup with the Oakland Raiders. Both teams look to make a statement in week one as they are in what could be the toughest division in the NFL

(Week 1) Buffalo Bills vs. Los Angeles Rams: The defending champs get tested right away with a matchup against the Buffalo Bills who look to finally get over the top and make the super bowl as they have been contenders the past two seasons. The Rams have surprisingly improved their roster as well as kept the majority of their roster from the championship season. Adding Bobby Wagner to the defense to replace Von Miller who signed with the Bills in the offseason. Ram’s are favorites to win Super Bowl this season and ready to run it back with Aarron Donald leading the charge.

(Week 3) Green Bay Packers vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Aaron Rodger going into this season with a new contract but shortly after was hit with a huge surprise when the Packers organization traded away his top weapon Devante Adams. Bucs were led by Tom Brady who retired after last season, but it was a short retirement when he decided that he wasn’t done. But the headline here is a possible last matchup between two of the best to play this game in their position. A matchup we all love to see and I’m sure they won’t disappoint.

(Week 4) Kansa City Chiefs vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Rematch from 2020 Super Bowl where the Buccaneers dominated the Chiefs to take home the Lombardi trophy in a 31-9 victory. We are in for a shoot-out where it could come down to which defense can make that last stop to win the game.

(Week 5) Kansas City Chiefs vs. Oakland Raiders: In what is possibly the toughest division in football this season both teams look to take the top spot. Raiders a much-improved team from last season look to show the Chiefs that they are going to be a problem for them and will not let them win the division easily. The Chiefs won the division the past two seasons with the Raiders right behind them.

See the source image

(Week 6) Philadelphia Eagles vs. Dallas Cowboys: Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliot are coming into this season with intentions of proving many wrongs that the Cowboys are winners and be contenders this season after being knocked out in the Wild Card game. Eagles’ new offense with A.J. Brown added and Jalen Hurts leading the offense look to make the playoff this season with offseason moves made to improve the roster. Everyone loves a rivalry game and this one is going to be a good one to watch on Sunday Night Football.

(Week 9) Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Los Angeles Rams: Anticipated rematch from last year’s division round where the Rams beat the Bucs in a close game 30-27. Possibly the loss that retired Brady for a short period, but he is back and looking to beat the Rams in mid-season which could be the first matchup of two if they meet in playoffs again. Just like the division round game I expect this to be a high-scoring game and down to the wire.

(Week 16) Christmas Day Games: NFL football on Christmas Day!? This season we get three games on Christmas. The first matchup is between the Packers and Miami in a Tua vs Rodgers matchup.  Followed by the Broncos led by Russel Wilson versus Matt Stafford and the Rams. Ending the night with the Bucs against the Cardinals in a matchup that includes a Hall of Famer Tom Brady and future of the NFL in Kyler Murray

The Direction Is There Is No Direction

Streetwear brand Diet Starts Monday(DSM), pays homage to its design founder, Davin Gentry’s midwest nostalgic by teaming up with the legacy running shoemaker, Saucony to design and release the latest Endorphin Pro, a true performance shoe that champions urban athleticism. Blendings Diet’s ethos of inclusivity, art, and streetwear, with Saucony’s expertise in performance, stability, speed, and comfort. Every material and stitch obsessed over to cut weight. It’s the attitude of a track spike, in a shoe built for the demands of distance. If you thought you knew your limits, think again.

The connection between DSM and Saucony dates back to Davin’s first pair of sneakers purchased with his own money, the Saucony Jazz. Oddly enough after the brands were introduced through a mutual friend the idea was to release a special in the Grid Web model that would have been released at Complex Con in 2019. After deciding to not participate that year it was back to the drawing board. During another business meeting, Davin’s eye was drawn to the Endorphin Pro the shape of the sneaker spoke to him. The idea of a brand putting out a performance running shoe compared to a lifestyle sneaker is what enticed DSM to use the Endorphin Pro as the debut collaboration with Saucony.

The DSM influence is heavily present in design choices for the Endorphine Pro such as the DSM appearing on the tongue and side panel of the shoe that uses the Saucony “S”, as well as the signature color yellow being used as the main focus of the sneaker. Dressed in a yellow Wolverine premium suede upper (unlike most running shoes that use mesh), Medial side embroidered Saucony x DSM logo lock up, Lateral side high-density Saucony x DSM branding, Custom sock liner, and rubber dipped laces finish off the design. This sneaker also comes with a white and yellow custom box that features branding from both brands respectively.

Performance features of the Diet Starts Monday x Saucony Endorphin Pro included propulsive SPEEDROLL Technology, ultralight PWRRUNPB for added spring and energy return, Signature S-curve carbon-fiber plate makes for powerful transitions with max SPEEDROLL effect, Ultralight mesh upper with suede detailing and perforated tongue for added comfort and breathability, FORMFIT hugs the foot in 3D comfort, while enhanced heel support and anti-slip laces keep you secure at any speed-XT-900 outsole with reinforced high-abrasion zones provides optimal traction and durability, and constructed with recycled materials to reduce the carbon footprint.

All Little About Diet Starts Monday:

DSM is a brand inspired by co-founders Davin Gentry and John Geiger’s catchphrase they used after partaking in the fast-food offerings of whatever city the two were in well laying the groundwork for this brand. An innovative men’s retail brand that originated in Washington, D.C., where there is a vast amount of cultural diversity. The company first birthed the unique idea of not only combining retail with a restaurant but with a bar as well. this type of captivating consumer engagement was a new form of retail therapy. their experience-driven retail approach drove the brand to focus on their forte—quality cut-and-sew clothing. Diet Starts Monday expanding its business with premium collaborations and activation pop-ups in standalone venues, or in larger shops such as Fred Segal. the goal is to constantly build brand awareness, and they strive for limitless creative retail ideas instead of being restrained by the typical in-store experience. DSM embraces streetwear and lifestyle fashion with carefully chosen collaborations and limited releases/distribution. in doing so, they’ve maintained demand, curiosity, and anticipation—always keeping customers coming back for more.

The Diet Starts Monday x Saucony Endorphin Pro is set to release May 14th at Cncpts in Boston, May 16th Online release on DietStartsMonday.us, and  May 20th Worldwide on Saucony.com Check out more photos below:

PJ Tucker, Miami Heat (SneakerReporter Top 10 PEs Series)

PJ Tucker, Miami Heat (SneakerReporter Top 10 PEs Series)

Featured

PJ Tucker has always been a huge sneakerhead and he’s clearly the NBA Sneaker King. What gets lost in all the sneaker attention that PJ receives is his journey/grind. From his days at the University of Texas all the way to being on the Miami Heat this season. One thing that has always traveled with PJ Tucker is his heart, grind, and determination. PJ Tucker is one of the best defenders in the NBA and he’s been able to make a career out of it. If I’m starting an NBA team I would want a player like PJ Tucker on the team because I know he’s going to work hard and never cheat the game.

This season in Miami PJ Tucker averaged 7.6 PPG & 5.5 RPG but his impact goes beyond the stats. PJ Tucker has been a great addition to the Heat because he’s able to defend the best player on the other team every night. Another big thing that PJ has brought to the table was his improved corner 3-point shot. It seems like every time that Miami needs that big crucial shot in a game Jimmy Butler would draw and kick to that corner. PJ has been dependable his whole career and every coach knows what he brings to the game every night.

Now when it comes to PJ Tucker’s sneaker game I name him “The Cheat Code”. PJ has been able to get his hands on some of the most exclusive kicks that are hard to find. PJ Tucker has even had sneakers that players had made exclusively for them and PJ popped up with them. PJ Tucker’s sneaker collection is insane and he has almost everything you can think of. You can truly tell that PJ Tucker enjoys the hunt for finding sneakers and he wears his sneakers.

You can’t be the Sneaker King with a lot of deadstock sneakers he takes pride in rocking his heat. Being the equipment manager for PJ Tucker I’m sure has to be some serious work as much as he switches sneakers per quarter. Below are some kicks that PJ Tucker has rocked on the court during his career before this season because he has way too much heat for a Top 10 PE for 2021-2022.

Below are some of the exclusive kicks that PJ Tucker rocked in the past seasons. We can’t get to all the crazy heat that PJ Tucker wore in the past season but you get the idea. SneakerReporter: WrestleMania Backlash 2022 (Preview/Predictions)

SneakerReporter: WrestleMania Backlash 2022 (Preview/Predictions)

Featured

After what I thought was a great WrestleMania filled with some great matches. From the cast of Jackass helping Johnny Knoxville defeat Sami Zayne and Pat MacAfee’s great performance in his first match against Austin Theory. The highlight of that night was the amazing moments from Stone Cold Steve Austin during his match against Kevin Owens then the most nostalgic moment of the night was when Steve Austin’s glass shatters as Vince McMahon is in the ring and watching his smile just disappear.

Ending with a couple of beers between the two and a stone-cold stunner to Vince and hearing the fans roar. Definitely, a memory everyone who watched will remember as it may have been Steve Austin’s last match and in my opinion, a great way to go out. After that night it leads us to WrestleMania Backlash on May 8th, 2022 the first PPV since the greatest night in sports entertainment. Let’s preview some of the top matches for the night.

Charlotte Flair vs. Rhonda Rousey (I Quit” Match) Smackdown Women’s Champion

See the source image

Plenty of hate in this matchup that has built up since the return of Rhonda back in February. Many thought Rousey would have selected Becky Lynch for her opponent after winning the Royal Rumble but instead shocked the WWE Universe and selected to wrestle Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania. Rhonda coming back with some rust after some time off makes sense to select Charlotte who can make almost anyone look good in the ring.

Fans expected to see Rhonda win the title back but instead, Flair was able to retain her belt but the feud doesn’t end at WrestleMania as the two are ready to square off once again in the ring at Backlash in an (I Quit’ Match) where they will try to beat the hell out of each other until one can’t take anymore. The last time we saw a woman in this type of match involved Stephanie McMahon against her father Vince McMahon so it’s safe to say this is the first ever women’s (I Quit”) match in WWE history.

Prediction: Rhonda Rousey New Women’s Champion

Cody Rhodes vs. Seth Rollin

See the source image

For weeks Seth Rollins was begging and begging for his moment at WrestleMania. Going out to the ring every Monday night asking for a match but each night he was unsuccessful until finally in Vince McMahon’s office the CEO of WWE granted him his wish and gave him his moment but against a surprise pick by Vince that would not be announced until the start of the match. WWE Universe already had their pick set on Cody The American Nightmare Rhodes to return and they got what they wanted. Cody came back to WWE on the greatest stage of the year and did not disappoint. Putting on a great performance and took home the victory on his first night back.

The fans were happy and enjoyed seeing Rhodes win but not so much Seth Rollins. On the first Monday night raw after WrestleMania Cody comes out to an amazing crowd full of cheers looking to see who his next opponent would be but that was cut short when Seth’s music hit and he walked into the ring. Seth Rollins said they have unfinished business before Cody can move on to his next opponent so Seth challenged Cody to another match at WrestleMania Backlash. They put on one of the best matches at WrestleMania and don’t expect any less in their rematch.

Prediction: Cody Rhodes Wins

The Bloodline VS. RK-BRO & Drew McIntyre

See the source image

No title match at Backlash for Roman Reigns as he will be a part of a six-man tag match. Shortly after Reigns took home both titles home at WrestleMania The Usos feel like maybe they can hold two titles as well recently calling out the Raw Tag Team Champs RK-BRO. There have been plenty of words said or altercations on both Raw and Smackdown as of late. One night the RK-BROS get the best of The Usos and the next night The Usos return with their own retaliation. There has been great back in forth between the two teams to lead up to be possibly the best match of the night.

Roman and McIntyre were added to the six-man tag match after a brawl broke out on Smackdown during the unification contract signing. There is some history between Roman and Drew including their last match at the 2020 Survivor Series where Roman came out with the win that night. Now Drew wants his rematch but this time wants to take the belts from Roman. Not sure if this is what the WWE Universe wants as the next opponent for Roman but it’s well deserved for Drew after Backlash.

Prediction: RKO-BRO & Drew McIntyre Win

Other notable matches that are on the card are listed below. Only one title defense at Backlash

AJ Styles vs. Edge (Damien Priest Ringside) – Edge Wins

Bobby Lashley vs. Omos – Omos Wins

Happy Corbin vs. Madcap Moss – Madcap Moss Wins

Devin Booker, Phoenix Suns (SneakerReporter Top 10 PEs Series)

Devin Booker, Phoenix Suns (SneakerReporter Top 10 PEs Series)

Featured

Devin Booker’s one of the most lethal shooters that the NBA has seen in quite some time. Devin Booker idolized everything about Kobe Bryant and Booker showcases that Mamba Mentality every night on the court. A switch turned on for Devin Booker in the NBA Bubble and he hasn’t looked back at all.

Last season Booker accompanied by Chris Paul was able to bring the Phoenix Suns to the NBA Finals against Milwaukee. Even though the Bucks didn’t come out of the Finals victorious Devin Booker took it as a challenge to do every and anything to get his team back into the same position in the 2021-2022 season.

Well in the 2021-2022 season all Devin Booker and the Suns did was come out strong to have the best record in the whole NBA (64-18). Devin Booker has continued to improve his game and play at an elite level. This season Devin Booker averaged 26.8 PPG, 5.0 REB, and 4.8 AST in 68 games. D-Book was able to show people that he has what it takes to “Be Legendary” just like Kobe told Devin Booker back in 2016. Booker even got “Be Legnady” tattooed on his arm to honor Kobe Bryant as well. Devin Booker has rocked nothing but Kobe’s and has one of the best Kobe Bryant sneaker collections among NBA players. This season Devin Booker rocked the Nike Kobe 4, 5, and 6 on the court. Below we will be highlighting some of the dope PEs that Booker wore this season.

Below are the Honorable Mentions that didn’t make the Player Exclusive cut because they were released to the public. Devin Booker has been one of the players that Nike makes sure gets the Mamba Mentality treatment through the Kobe Line. Nike released Kobes/AF1 in PHX or Devin Booker colorways and blessed the public with a chance to grab them.
