Nike and Doernbecher have released official photos of the Air Jordan 1 Low Doernbecher. Nike lets six patients from the Oregon Health and Sciences Doernbecher Children’s Hospital make their own colorways and remake some of Nike’s most popular sneaker silhouettes.

The sneakers highlighted here are the Air Jordan 1 Low which was crafted by Riddhi Mahajan. There are many unique features on this design which include different shades of green throughout the sneaker, multicolor laces, stitched flower on the heel, and ocean patterned insoles.

“Designed by a patient at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. Riddhi’s not letting life with cystic fibrosis keep her down. She stays busy playing basketball, participating in her school’s theater program, and keeping her GPA up so she can pursue her dream of becoming a doctor. Channeling her energy and optimism, Riddhi’s low-top AJ1 incorporates vibrant colors, embroidered daisies and nature-inspired accents. Words of encouragement throughout the design serve as a reminder to radiate positivity, wherever the road takes you.” (Nike SNKRS App)

This pair is set to release on the Nike SNKRS App for $120 USD at 9:00 AM central daylight time.
