Adidas is set to release their second colorway of the Anthony Edwards 1 in the “New Wave” colorway. The AE 1 initially released in December and was a big hit among basketball sneakers enthusiasts. The AE 1 even sold out for online on the adidas app.
This “New Wave” colorway is on theme with the Minnesota Timberwolves color schemes. The AE 1 also features Adidas Boost and a lightstrike midsole which makes the shoe more lightweight. The most interesting part of the sneaker is there is a multidirectional herringbone pattern with blades throughout the outsole.
This is “New Wave” colorway is the first of many colorways that will release throughout the course of the 2024 calendar year. The retail price will be $120 USD in adult sizing and can be purchased on the adidas website or select few retailers.
