Trae Young’s second signature sneaker with Adidas is set to release on November, 1st. According to Instagram user @icetraekicks This colorway is called the Adidas Trae Young 2 “Trae-Tlien” because it was inspired by Outkast a Hip-Hop duo and their album “ATLiens” which first released in 1996. André “3000” Benjamin and Antwan “Big Boi” Patton are Atlanta based rappers that formed Outkast.
The Adidas Trae Young 2 is a mid cut sneaker which is a slight change from its predecessor. This “Trae-Tlien” color-way features purple, black, green and aqua throughout the sneaker. Technology features include boost on the heel, adidas light strike on the forefoot and a primeknit upper.

The Adidas Trae Young 2 official pictures have finally surfaced. After a successful first shoe with Adidas, Trae Young looks to dominate the 2022-23 NBA season with his second signature sneaker.
A much different design than the first but keeping its low cut form, The Trae Young 2 features a primeknit upper, Adidas light-strike on the forefoot, boost on the heel area of the sneaker which can be located on the midsole, Trae young branding on the pull tabs, and the iconic Adidas 3 Stripes on the toe box area that almost wraps around to the outsole.

Trae Young entered the league in 2018 and has been nothing short of spectacular. Young has proven that size doesn’t matter when you’re one of the best shooters in the world. From Norman to Atlanta this man Trae Young has let it be known that he’s a professional bucket getter. On the season Trae averaged 28.4 PPG and 9.7 AST for the Atlanta Hawks. He’s been a true leader and someone that the whole city of Atlanta has embraced.
Even though the season didn’t end the way that Trae Young and the Hawks would like in 2022. The Hawks have a bright future and a star that’s leading them in the right direction for the future. The Hawks were in the Eastern Conference Finals last year and with the emergence of Trae Young, they will be back very soon. Ice Trae has shown that he can score and get his teammates involved at an elite rate in the NBA throughout his early career. Young can hit you for 50 points and turn around then give you 15 assists. That’s how much his game has matured in a short span of time and he will only get better in ATL under Nate McMillian.
The Adidas Trae Young 1 was on full display in the 2021-2022 season. This year he’s rocked some of the dopest PEs as he continues to put Atlanta on the map. Adidas always laces Trae with some crazy colorways that aren’t available to the public but they always hope for a public release soon after. Inspired by the major Atlanta street and takes after the Peach which the state of Georgia is known for and takes pride in, the Adidas Trae Young 1 will have a “Peachtree” colorway. Trae wore this Peachtree colorway on multiple occasions during the incredible playoff run this past season.
The tonal colorway offering features a Peach/Acid Orange textile mesh upper paired with Team Green contrasting accents on the pull tabs representing the stem of peaches. Additional details include the Georgia peach is featured on the insole and continues the tonal look into the Lightstrike midsole and multidirectional outsole. The popular Lightstrike midsole with responsive Boost is utilized in the heel for extra impact protection which completes the design.

“Everybody in Atlanta knows Peachtree and West Peachtree. The two streets run parallel through the heart of the city and if you know, you know. This colorway has the all-over peach colored upper with the hints of green to represent the stem. It’s got the ‘Georgia Peach’ printed on the sockliner with the street signs too, so this colorway is really reppin’ the city for sure.”
