Top 15 Kicks Worn During Week 6 of NBA Season

Week 6 in this young NBA season saw the Lakers’ 10-game winning streak finally come to an end. The Bucks and Lakers are still the top 2 teams in the league heading into the first full week of December. Is the Warriors’ dynasty (temporarily) over? The five-time defending Western Conference Champions officially hold the league’s worst record at 4-18 overall. James Harden continues to put up huge numbers, with not even needing a full game to do so. Harden dropped 60 points in only 3 quarters of play – oddly finishing just one point shy of his career high. Who knows what Harden could’ve ended up with had his team needed him the entire game and weren’t up by 50. Luka Doncic is wowing crowds on a nightly basis as his Mavs haulted the Lakers’ longest winning streak of the season. Some analysts even have Doncic in the MVP discussion along with the likes of Lebron, Giannis, and Harden.

Perhaps the biggest sneaker news of the week was P.J. Tucker re-signing with Nike. The Houston sharp-shooter inked a multi-year six-figure endorsement deal with the Swoosh. Tucker has such a following of people who are interested to see what he wears on a nightly basis, which is a unique circumstance for a player who has never had a signature shoe of their own. There was much speculation as to if Tucker would leave Nike and sign with a competitor but in the end P.J. ended up back with the brand that got him the notoriety in the sneaker game. Look below to see what were the top kicks that graced the court during week 6.

Top 15 Kicks Worn During Week 5 of NBA Season

Will this be the week that P.J. Tucker is dethroned from the #1 spot? Other sneakerheads in the NBA are getting more creative when it comes to their on-court decisions. Whether it be through older sought after P.E.’s or commissioning the work of a customizer – these players are making a statement when it comes to their feet while they play.

Lebron James continues to pump out what seems like an endless amount of Lebron XVII colorways. Hopefully a few of the ones he has worn will make their way to a general release. Older OG Kobe models don the court each week, ahead of what we now know will be the next Kobe Protro – the Nike Zoom Kobe 5. Budding superstar Luka Doncic has been seen wearing a slew of sneakers from different brands, as he is currently a sneaker free agent after his Nike deal recently expired. Although we still see Luka wearing Nike majority of the time, he has recently been spotted wearing Under Armour Curry 7’s and the Jordan Jumpman Diamond. Who will take the top spot in week 5’s countdown?

Top 15 Kicks Worn During Week 4 of NBA Season

We are officially one month into the NBA Season and the layout of where teams stand is starting to take shape. The storied rivalry of the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers looks to be renewed as both of these squads have the two best records in the NBA. After the Lakers’ win last night against Atlanta, they now hold the best record in the entire league at 11-2, with the Celtics close behind at 10-2 respectively.

Players across the league continue to rock Kobe’s best signature silhouettes (models 4-6). Additionally, older Lebron models like the VII’s and VIII’s grace the hardwood for our fourth installment of the Top 15 Kicks of the week. Other players besides Kyrie Irving are starting to get their hands on the new Nike Kyrie 6’s and sporting them during games. Could Kyrie’s new signature shoe overtake the Nike Kobe 4 Protros as the most popular on-court decision for NBA players? Will the yet-to-be-seen Nike PG 4 be as successful as the Kyrie 6 and Zoom Freak 1 have been so far? Also, it’s one thing to rock sick Nike iD’s, older signature shoes you haven’t seen in awhile, or the newest signature sneaker, but P.J. Tucker is wearing shoes in games that you just can’t get your hands on or haven’t seen in 10+ years. Tucker is really on a whole other level when it comes to kicks worn on court, however Montrezl Harrell is making a case for himself.

15. Jordan CP3.XII “Cracker Barrel” – P.J. Tucker – Houston Rockets

14. Jordan XXXIV “Chinese Takeout” P.E. – Jayson Tatum – Boston Celtics

13. Adidas Dame 6 “Veterans Day” – Damian Lillard – Portland Trail Blazers

12. Nike KD IV “N7 Away” – Montrezl Harrell – Los Angeles Clippers

11. Nike Kyrie 6 Pre-Heat “New York” – Darius Garland – Cleveland Cavaliers

10. Jordan XXXIV “Lemonade” P.E. – Jayson Tatum – Boston Celtics

9. Nike Zoom Freak 1 “Coming to America” – Giannis Antetokounmpo – Milwaukee Bucks

8. Nike Kyrie 6 Pre-Heat “Miami” – Ja Morant – Memphis Grizzlies

7. Nike Lebron VIII “Bred” – P.J. Tucker – Houston Rockets

Top 15 Kicks Worn During Week 3 of NBA Season

It was a big week in the NBA in terms of sneakers. Kyrie Irving officially debuted his sixth signature sneaker with Nike, sporting the “Tokyo” colorway from the Pre-Heat pack. Donovan Mitchell continuously shows new color schemes of his Adidas D.O.N. Issue #1’s. Players today are not wearing Jordan retros on court as much as they were in the 2010’s, but are instead opting to sport Kobe Protros, older Lebron and Kobe models, as well as newer designs like the Nike PG line or Giannis’ Zoom Freak 1. This could be due to the fact that a lot of the younger players in the NBA today grew up watching Kobe and Lebron in the league, and not MJ. Therefore these players saw Kobe and Lebron wear their best silhouettes like the Kobe 4, 5, 6, 8 and the Lebron 4, 7, 8, 10 – and now they want to rock those classic shoes on the court as well.

P.J. Tucker has established himself as the #1 sneaker guy in the NBA when it comes to kicks on court. Who’s going to challenge him to try to knock him off? Players like Gary Harris (Nuggets) and Allonzo Trier (Knicks) are starting to make some noise in the sneaker scene and are slowly climbing up our Top 15 list every week. Ten Sneaker Releases to Have on Your Radar for the Remainder of November 2019

Ten Sneaker Releases to Have on Your Radar for the Remainder of November 2019

Featured

We are almost a full week into November and the holiday shopping season is now quickly approaching. Top sneaker brands and athletes are looking to cash in on consumer spending by putting out a plethora of options to choose from this month. Nike and Jordan Brand are at the forefront in fall/winter of 2019 when it comes to what people want. Nike and Kyrie Irving are on the cusp of releasing their sixth signature shoe together and this one could be one of his best. Walk into any gym where boys/girls between the ages of 5-19 are hooping and I  guarantee you’ll see numerous pairs of either Kyrie 5’s, Kyrie 4’s, or any of the Kyrie Low models. Even with the Kyrie 6 just recently being unveiled and release this month, the Swoosh still has the Nike PG 4 in their back pocket for the market eagerly awaiting.

Lebron’s 17th signature sneaker has already been out for more than a month but this month the eye-catching “Red Carpet” colorway will hit store shelves. The Lebron XVII looks to have a more successful run than the XVI’s, especially with the Lakers on track for a stronger season than 2018-19. Jordan Brand will obviously be sprinkling the month with numerous retro releases, most notably the “What The” Jordan 4’s. Black Friday will see a release of a Jordan 1 Retro High OG because at this point in time JB really can’t lose with putting out a Jordan 1. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, right? The Jordan XXXIV will also see two more iterations during the month of November and it will be interesting to see how well they sell at retail stores.

Stay tuned to Sneaker Reporter for all your release date needs and look below to see the ten sneaker releases you should have on your radar this month.
