Minnesota Vikings vs Detroit Lions

It’s crazy to think that the Vikings are actually underdogs going into Detroit for this game. The Vikings are 10-2 on the season and have one of the best receivers if not the best in Justin Jefferson. JJettas as he goes by has been able to take over games and create space on his routes like no other. He will be looking to do so against a Lions defense that gives up a lot of yards to opposing receivers. The Vikings also have Dalvin Cook who was able to dominate the Jets last week as he was able to establish the run early and got in the end zone. If the Vikings can get Cook going like they did last week it could be a long game for the Lions. Kirk Cousins has been good on the season but he can be great and this is one of those games that we want to see the “You Like That” Kirk Cousins flourish. If Cousins can control the clock and the ball without any turnovers this will put the Vikings in a position to win this game.

The Lions are 5-7 on the season but they have a chance very small chance to make it into the playoffs. It’s been a long time since the Lions have had a winning record or made it to the playoffs. This could be that game that gets them over the hump especially if they can sneak past their division rivals. If the Lions are going to win this game they need to rely on their running game with Williams/Swift to take pressure off Goff. St.Brown has been a great receiver and he’s shown that his name belongs with the top guys in his position. The Viking’s defense will be trying to slow him down but good players always find a way. Jared Goff needs to perform today at a high level so he can show the world that the Lions are a big deal.

Baltimore Ravens vs Pittsburgh Steelers

The Baltimore Ravens are coming into this game without their star Lamar Jackson as he’s nursing a PCL sprain. It will be Tyler Huntley under center as he tries to right the ship for the Ravens. The Ravens are 8-4 and very much alive in the AFC playoff hunt so they will need to lean on the run game and defense in this game. The Ravens will have JK Dobbins back for this game which is a huge lift to the offense as well. As long as Mark Andrews is on the field Huntley will be looking for him to make plays in that passing game. The Raven’s defense has been giving up points but they will try to keep Pickett in check while staying in the pocket today.

The Steelers were banged up at the beginning of the season and now are healthy at the right time. Look for the Steelers to lean on Najee Harris and Pickens in this game as they will need to utilize their playmakers to get to 6-7 on the year. The Steelers will need to lean on the run game and defense in this one if they want to come out with a win. Watt and Fitzpatrick will be swarming trying to slow down Huntley and Raven’s offense. This game should come down to the plays that are made on special teams and the turnover game. Pittsburgh will need that home crowd to help them out in this heated rivalry today.

Score Prediction: Ravens Win (17-13)

Cleveland Browns vs Cincinnati Bengals

The Cleveland Browns are coming off a win against the Texans where they finally had Deshaun Watson in the lineup. You can tell that Watson was rusty last week but this is a huge game where he will need to turn into the old Watson against the Bengals. The Browns need this win to stay in the playoff hunt and could be cooking at the right time. This Browns team leans on the run game with Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt. If Watson can play off the run game to open up the passing game they should be good. This is a game where they would need Amari Cooper to show up and show out even with him nursing a hip injury. The Brown’s defense will be busy as they look to slow down Burrow, Chase, Mixon, and the boys. So look for Myles Garrett to try to make the best of this situation in the trenches and get to Burrow to disrupt what they’re trying to do. The Brown’s defense will need to slow down the Bengals to at least give them a chance in this game.

The Bengals will be getting Joe Mixon back in this game and it will be a nice matchup for him. Perine was a great fill-in for Mixon while he was out with a concussion so now with him back it opens things up for Burrow. When Mixon gets it going on the ground it opens things up for the passing game. Look for Burrow to get his wide receivers some work early in this one and they could get up to the point they phase Nick Chubb out of the game. The Bengals put up some big numbers offensively so all they have to do is maintain on the defensive side while limiting turnovers. The only way the Bengals would lose this game is if the old Deshaun Watson shows up and he’s scrambling and throwing for touchdowns which at that point could make it a long game. The Bengals have Bates and Hendrickson who will be making it tough all day.

New York Jets vs Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills (9-3) have one of the best quarterbacks in the league under center Josh Allen. It doesn’t matter what happens with the Bills as long as they have Josh Allen in the lineup the fans always feel like they will win. It’s going to be a tough game for the Jets as they try to stop Josh Allen. He’s one of the best in the game and he’s a duel threat that can throw with the best of them and create plays with his legs too. Allen has some of the best weapons in the game with Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis because both can get open like the best of them. The crazy thing is the fact that this running game with Devin Singletary and James Cook has been opening things up too. So this Bills team is unstoppable on the offensive end and they can put up points with anyone. The way that this defense plays alongside the offense has been special as well. The Bills defense has been playing stout this year and they have a complete team.

The New York Jets (7-5) are coming off a loss to the Minnesota Vikings which they almost won. The reason why the Jets have been in these games has been Mike White. The quarterback has come into this organization and given them a jolt. Mike White will need to bring that energy and he will need to bring his throwing ability/IQ into this game against the Bills. Mike White has been able to get the best out of Garrett Wilson, Elijah Moore, and more. If the running game can help Mike White out they can make this game closed but it will depend on Michael Carter Jr. The Jets have Sauce Gardiner but not even Sauce can stop the Bills by himself so it could be a long day on the defensive end.

Houston Texans vs Dallas Cowboys

The Houston Texans have been confused as of late because last week they switched to Kyle Allen at quarterback. Now, this week they’re switching back to Davis Mills at quarterback for the Texans. It’s going to be a challenge as they will be without Brandin Cooks and Nico Collins so they will look to Phillip Dorsett as the number one receiver. The Texans will try to lean on Dameon Pierce the rookie running back but he’s been getting bottled up as of late. It’s going to be tough for the Texans to move on this Cowboys defense as Micah Parsons and the crew will be waiting on their every mistake.

The Dallas Cowboys have been dominating as of late and today it shouldn’t be any different. This could be the game in that Dak Prescott throws about 4 touchdowns as he should be able to get all his weapons involved. Look for Dak to get Schultz, Lamb, Gallup, and Pollard all touches in the passing game. This could also be one of those Zeke games where he can get the ground game going as well. The Cowboys offense is scoring at a high clip and they should be able to win this game in all phases. Dallas will win all the phases in this game and all the Cowboys fans are waiting on is their seeding and if OBJ will be signing with them. Overall this shouldn’t be a challenge at all because the Texans only have 1 win on the season.

Philadelphia Eagles vs New York Giants

The Philadelphia Eagles are (11-1) and that’s behind the play of Jalen Hurts. The MVP front-runner has been able to make the best of everything that defenses have given him. Hurts has made them pay for it whether it be passing the ball or running the ball. Hurts has been able to flourish with AJ Brown and Devonta Smith as his receivers and they should still be undefeated if it wasn’t for them beating themselves against the Commanders. The Eagles have won games since and they will be looking to get that 12th win against the Giants. Hurts makes the running game better because now Miles Sanders is having one of his best seasons too. The Eagles defense will be going against the Giants who may be without Saquon Barkley (neck) so the defense just needs to focus on Daniel Jones. The Giants receiving core is injured but that won’t stop Darius Slay from trying to get that interception.

The New York Giants need something positive to happen and this could be a game where they lean on Daniel Jones heavily. The Giants are (7-4-1) on the season but they will need Barkley at 100% to be great on the offensive end to have a shot in this game. The Giants defense will have their hands full and it will be a tough task to try to stop Jalen Hurts. They will need the Giants fans to help them out too in a big way if they will get the upset.

Score Prediction: Eagles Win (28-17)

Jacksonville Jaguars vs Tennesee Titans

The Jacksonville Jaguars are playing really good football as of late. They come into this game with a record of (4-8) so if they can run the table maybe Jacksonville can try to sneak into the postseason. This week the Jags will be playing the Titans with a banged up Trevor Lawrence but he’s been a tough player this season. The Jaguars have Kirk and both Jones who have been true playmakers but they will have to do that against a Titans team that has a great passing defense. The run game has been going through Travis Etienne and he will be the staple of the offense in this one for sure. The Jags defense has struggled with Derrick Henry ever since he entered the league so this could be one of those tough matchups for them again.

The Tennessee Titans move as Derrick Henry moves it’s that simple. When Derrick Henry plays against the Jaguars he just goes insane. The Titans will be riding Henry to this win if it’s going to happen and he hasn’t gotten into the end zone in the past two weeks. Look for that to change for this week as his eyes will be wide open against the Jags. The Titans will be without Treyon Burks as he’s out with a concussion. So look for the Titans to look for Robert Woods in the passing game. Ryan Tannehill shouldn’t have to do too much in this game as Henry will be the main focal point. The Titan’s defense has been impressive as of late and they will be looking to pressure Trevor Lawrence all day.

Score Prediction: Titans Win (24-16)

Kansas City Chiefs vs Denver Broncos

The Kansas City Chiefs (9-3) have been on fire this season and Patrick Mahomes has been doing Patrick Mahomes things. On the season he’s been making things happen for this offense especially after everyone thought he would take a step back after losing Tyreke Hill. Mahomes has shown that it doesn’t matter who you put to line up with him he’s going to make them look good while making the right play. It helps that Mahomes has the best tight end Travis Kelce who’s been unstoppable all season. The Broncos will have their hands full in this game trying to stop Mahomes, Kelce, and Pacheco. The good thing is Pacheco has been able to give Mahomes a chance to take some plays off and it’s been a great help as you can see. The Chiefs defense has been good this year but with an offense as lethal as this one then that means all they have to do is maintain and they will do just that with Chris Jones.

Russell Wilson hasn’t been the quarterback that we are all used to seeing this year. But this can be the game where he can ruin some things for the Chiefs playoff hopes seeding wise. Wilson needs to turn back in time to 2017 when he was at the prime of his career. Russell knows how to make plans and he will need to make those ASAP. He will be without Courtland Sutton but he will have Jerry Juedy back in the mix. The running game will be just fine with Latavious Murray as he has seen at least 20 touches a game since Melvin Gordon was released. Murray has been a breath of fresh air for that backfield and they will need to run the clock out on Mahomes. The defense hasn’t been as good but in a division game, anything is possible.

Score Prediction: Chiefs Win (34-17)

Carolina Panthers vs Seattle Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks have been rejuvenated this year as Geno Smith has put them on the map. Everyone thought when Russell Wilson left that the Seahawks were gonna be a terrible team. Now looking up the Seahawks are (7-5) on the year and have a matchup with the Panthers who are scrapping to try to stay in the division mix. DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett are special talents that have helped Geno out big time. Metcalf will make it tough on the Panthers so when it comes down to it this game will fall on Geno’s arm. Kenneth Walker is hurt so it’s up to Travis Homer in the backfield who has never had a serious running game role. So if the Seahawks defense can maintain and hold the Panthers this could be their 8th win.

The Panthers will be starting Sam Darnold in this game and he will need all the help he can get. DJ Moore will need to show up in this game to help Sam if they’re going to win this game. The positive for this Panthers game will be the play of D’Onta Foreman because he’s been a running machine. Foreman has been able to amass over 100 yards rushing in multiple games down this stretch. The Panthers defense will have their hands full against Geno and their wide receivers but this could come down to who makes the mistake.

Score Prediction: Seahawks Win (27-13)

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers have the best defense in the NFL and they will be put to the test against Tom Brady. Nick Bosa has been banged up but this defense is loaded from Warner to Hufanga it doesn’t matter. The 49ers are stingy when it comes to giving up yards and points. The other part of it is the fact they have an amazing offense to match the defense. They lost Jimmy G last week to a broken ankle and will need to lean on Brock Purdy against Tampa Bay. The weapons that they give Purdy will be Deebo, CMC, and Kittle. The 49ers will be right where they need to be but we don’t know how Purdy plays without a lead. We will find out everything we need to know about the offense but we know the defense will lead this team to the playoffs.

Tom Brady has been doing things this season that we still can’t believe. Brady had another game winning drive and he was able to get the Buccanneers to (6-6). Brady will need to utilize all his weapons as Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and Cade Otton will have to get open. It’s going to be interesting to see Brady against this 49ers defense because he has overcome everything. Look for White to run the backfield and try to stabilize things for Brady to operate in the offense. The Buccanneers defense is as good as the 49ers just not as good but this could be a defensive battle.

Score Prediction: Buccanneers Win (24-21)
