Under Armour Curry “Back To Back MVP” Rumored to Return

Under Armour Curry “Back To Back MVP” Rumored to Return

Featured

Under Armour recently has brought back popular Curry models from back when Curry received his first signature shoe. This time around Under Armour is rumored to be bringing back the “Back to Back MVP” pack which features the Curry 1 and Curry 2.

In 2016 Curry was the first unanimous MVP and had won the MVP award in back to back years. Curry and his Golden State Warriors almost won back to back NBA titles but LeBron and his Cleveland Cavaliers had other plans. Despite Curry losing in the NBA Finals in 2016, Under Armour still celebrated his back to back MVP awards by releasing a “Back To Back MVP” pack which retailed for $400 USD.

The Curry 1 we’ve seen released quite a few times. It has some statistics on the uppers that fades into the toe box area and comes dressed in black and gold. The Curry 2 is a simpler colorway with the majority of the sneaker coming dressed in black with the exception of the toe box area being covered in gold. It also does have gold Under Armour and Curry branding.

These are uploaded to the Champs website with a release date of June 30th, but Under Armour has yet to confirm the release of the Curry MVP “Back To Back MVp” Pack. It seems that each pair will be released individually for $200 USD with no special packaging.

Los Angeles Lakers Superstar LeBron James’ future is undecided but that doesn’t mean they’ll slow down the releases of the Nike LeBron line. This “Lime Green” LeBron NXXT Gen has been spotted on court by James himself during the Lakers playoff run that ultimately fell short when the Denver Nuggets beat the Lakers in just four games.

This LeBron NXXT Gen colorway comes dressed in a bright green upper and outsole, black stingray overlays that can be seen on the medial sides, a blue big and small nine swoosh along with red stitching. The medial swoosh is dressed in red unlike the lateral sides that come in blue, the midsole also features red speckles.

The Nike LeBron NXXT Gen “Lime Green” is expected on June 1st for $160 USD on the Nike app and select few retailers. For now take an official look down below.

With the LaMelo Ball 3 on the horizon, Puma is still releasing colorways of the Melo Ball 2 “Whispers” will probably be one of the last colorways to release on the Melo Ball 2.

This colorway comes dressed in a cream color all throughout the sneaker. There is also black Melo Ball and Puma branding throughout the sneaker, the word “Rare” is seen in black on the wings logo on the medial side of the sneaker. This is one of the rare few simple colorways we’ve seen on the Puma MB.02 but it’s clean and simple look has seemed to catch a lot of people’s attention.

The Puma MB.02 “Whispers” is scheduled to release on May 26 at 10am with a retail price of $130 USD at select few retailers and the puma website.

As for the White pair which is being called “Coconut” comes dressed in off white/cream, gray outsole, a green big Nike swoosh, and the swoosh behind it is dressed in a dark orange.

Early Look At the Adidas Harden Vol. 8

Early Look At the Adidas Harden Vol. 8

Featured

After the success of the Harden Vol. 7, Adidas is set to release the Harden Vol. 8 in the upcoming months. With Harden set to be a free agent this offseason we could see some new colorways for his new team.

In hindsight it looks very similar to the Harden Vol. 7 because of the outsole, toebox, and ankle support area. But one major difference is the lateral sides as it has a big rubber base on the lateral side of the shoe, it’s unknown what material it is but it looks like that will have a big impact on lateral movement from keeping the foot from slipping or bending. No Harden or Adidas branding has been located yet on the sneakers as the photos are very early leaks.

No official announcement has been announced yet about a release date but it could come during the middle of the 2023-24 NBA Season, due to the fact the Harden Vol. 7 took awhile to become available and released during the second half of the 2022-23 NBA Season.

Minnesota Lynx Drop Home Opener Against The Chicago Sky (77-66)

Minnesota Lynx Drop Home Opener Against The Chicago Sky (77-66)

Featured

The Minnesota Lynx had a lot of hype for them coming into tonight’s game. That hype was real because Collier, McBride, and Miller all have one goal in common which is to be champs. The Lynx were without Lindsay Allen their point guard tonight as she was nursing a hamstring injury. These teams clashed earlier this month and with it being for meaningful games now it was going to be intense.

The Lynx came out swinging in this game as Napheesa Collier was impacting the games on both ends of the floor with her defense and offense. It didn’t look like she missed a step at all out there on the court tonight because she looked elite. Collier finished the game with 17 points, 2 assists, and 5 rebounds.

This is a good sign for all Minnesota Lynx fans that we’re watching the game tonight and it gives the fans hope that the team will turn things around for the better. Kayla McBride was able to knock down a couple of his shots tonight and really had her offense going in the second half. Kayla finished with 12 points, 1 assist, and 5 rebounds. The two veterans led the way for this team as they know there will be some rough patches in the road.

Tonight was one of those rough patches as they only scored 3 points total in the 2nd quarter alone. Diamond Miller didn’t have the outing we all expected from her especially off her amazing preseason performances but she’s still getting her feet wet too.

The Chicago Sky came into Minnesota tonight and took that win from them and weren’t giving it back. Elizabeth Williams was a dominant force in the paint as she was blocking, rebound, and even stealing the ball. Her activity was one of the reasons that the Sky won the game and it was huge.

The player of the game was Kahleah Copper and she took this one over. Copper finished with 20 points, 5 assists, and 7 rebounds. It seemed as though anything that she put up was going in and she kept the pressure on the referees all night long. Copper was scoring inside and outside which was tough for a Lynx team that’s trying to figure things out on the fly.

The Lynx made some mistakes tonight but it’s all about making the adjustments and fixing the the issues before they get worse which I believe they will. The Minnesota Lynx play the Atlanta Dream on Tuesday as they try to get their first win of the WNBA season.
