2 Chainz reunited with Lil Wayne on his latest single “Money Maker.” Announced on social media Thursday night, ahead of 2 Chainz’s much-anticipated Verzuz battle against Rick Ross.

The Atlanta rapper hopped on an interview with the Breakfast Club to break down why the battle. Just hours after his Verzuz battle 2 Chainz delivered his new single.

The song is the first release off 2 Chainz’s upcoming album So Help Me God, pays homage to Historically Black Colleges and Universities. The horn-heavy track features a marching band

Earlier this year, he teased a sequel to Collegrove, his 2016 collaborative album with Lil Wayne. Check out the track below:

Fresh off his Verzuz battle with 2 Chainz on Thursday night, in addition to revisiting some of their biggest hits, the rappers blessed the audience with some never-before-heard material, including Ross’ unreleased verse from Kanye West’s “Famous,” while 2 Chainz’s previewed upcoming track “Money Maker.”

However arguably the biggest moment of the night was when Ross played a portion of “Pinned to the Cross,” a Finn Matthews assisted track in which Rozay takes aim at Terry Crews.

Cardi B has returned with new music, this single ‘WAP (Wet Ass Pu**y),’featuring Megan Thee Stallion. Following her last single “Press,” the nine-month hiatus is over.

Produced by Ayo n Keyz, this freaky bedroom banger should come with a warning label as its not for the faint of heart. As the rappers exchanging nasty verses over a sample of Frank Ski’s 1992 track “There’s Some Whores in This House.”

“The song is really nasty. The song always been nasty,” Cardi told Hot 97. “My verses and the hook has been the same since before Megan was there. So it just always been a nasty song and it’s like, ‘Who’s saying more nastier things than Megan?”

As the first single from Cardi’s long-awaited sophomore album, ‘WAP,’ has an accompanying video directed by Colin Tilley (posted above) features cameos from Kylie Jenner, Normani, Rosalía, Mulatto, Rubi Rose, and Suki Hana.

With plenty of head-turning visuals as Cardi and Megan roam the halls of this mansion taken over by ladies. You’re not sure what surprises await behind each door. Maybe a ferocious cheetah-print Cardi with cheetahs stocking their pray, or the Houston hottie shows off her flexibility while surrounded by white tigers. They later get hands on while splashing in a pool of water in another steamy scene.

While promoting her “WAP” collaboration with Cardi B, Megan addressed the shooting involving Tory Lanez, where she was injured multiple times in the feet. During a live YouTube chat on Thursday night. Their sexy video for “WAP,” which was filmed prior to the July 12 shooting.

“But the one thing that y’all need to know about me is I’m not a person who is able to be down for a long time. I’m not a person who is…I don’t like to be victimized. I don’t like to feel like, ‘Oh my god, Megan, something’s wrong.’ I like to be upbeat. I like to be happy,” Megan response to a fan question on how she’s doing after the traumatic incident.

“I feel like I always have to be a light, I feel like I always have to be an example ’cause I’ve actually seen some pretty fu**ed up things and I’ve been through some fu**ed up things and I always want people to know that pain does not last forever. Bad times don’t last forever. So I definitely always want people to see me being an example of bad things not lasting forever. Just because you go through something bad, don’t mean that that’s the time you gon’ be in forever,” she added.

Welcome to Sneaker Reporter Power Rankings for MLB 2020.

Major League Baseball is continuing their quest to prolong the 2020 season, despite numerous COVID-19 outbreaks across the league. There is a looming threat that the next serious outbreak could force the league to end the season just two weeks into it.

Rob Manfred, baseball’s commissioner, has warned the players and partners of the league (TV stations, writers, advertisers) that the season could end soon. He blames players for not following protocol and basically deflected all accountability for the worsening situation.

The top teams of the league are as expected, but there is some rumble in the top 10. Here  are your power rankings. All records and statistics are through Aug. 6.

1. Los Angeles Dodgers (9-4)

Cody Bellinger, Max Muncy and Justin Turner are all off to a slow start. They are all batting below .200. But, that has not stopped the Dodgers from dominating.They have outscored opponents by 33 runs. A.J. Pollock has stepped up, as well as Corey Seager. Both started hot and continued to hit. Mookie Betts is doing well and starting to heat up. Their defense has been outstanding and some say it is one of the best in a long time.

Besides a surprisingly slow start by Walker Buehler, LA’s pitchers have been impressive. Rookie Dustin May has done well in his three starts, but has yet to show he can go deep into the game.

Julio Urias and Ross Stripling have hung in there and proven they can help a winning team. Clayton Kershaw is healthy again and has impressed in lone start this season. He is getting hot and could become a dominant force.

2. New York Yankees (9-3)

A fully healthy Aaron Judge has returned to his MVP-caliber self. He has been absolutely dominant. Through 12 games, he has seven home runs and 17 runs batted in. DJ LeMahieu is back in the lineup and has picked up where he left off last season, now hitting .429. Gio Urshela is hitting consistently and is play insane defense and third.

Gerrit Cole has been Gerrit Cole, and is the ace the Yankees’ have needs for a very long time. However, all starters besides Cole have combined for a 7.11 ERA, 1.77 WHIP, and are averaging 3.1 innings per start, allowing 40 hits, 25 earned runs, and 16 walks in 31.2 innings.

Their bullpen has been elite and has picked up the slack for most of their starters. Aroldis Chapman’s return is going to help their depth greatly.

3. Minnesota Twins (10-3)

The Minnesota Twins are flourishing because of their explosive lineup and phenomenal pitching. They have outscored opponents by 29 runs.

Their pitching has been a pleasant surprise. After their starting pitchers posted a 4.19 ERA in 2019, their pitching staff has had a 2.71 ERA through 13 starts.

Their bullpen has allowed just just two runs in 27.1 innings. Their team ERA is 2.97, the second-best in the American League.

4.Chicago Cubs (10-3)

Despite a brutal loss to the Kanas City Royals on Thursday, the Chicago Cubs have been playing very well. Ian Happ has been playing better than he ever has before, perhaps playing everyday due to the new DH rule in the National League has helped.

Jon Lester, Kyle Hendricks, and Yu Darvish have carried their weight and posted an impressive rotation ERA for the Cubs. Tyler Chatwood was impressive until his explosion on Thursday.

Their offense has been powered by Happ, Anthony Rizzo and Wilson Contreras. They have steady control of the division.

5. Oakland A’s (9-4)

The Oakland A’s have been doing superbly well because of their elite defense and consistent bullpen.

Matt Chapman, Matt Olson, and Ramon Laureano have all been great assets in the field and at the plate. Marcus Semien is not what he was last year at the plate, but that could change quickly. He is still great defensively.

In 55 innings through 13 games, their bullpen has an ERA of 1.80, which is insane. They keep winning close games and can be a disturbance in the postseason.

6. Atlanta Braves (9-5)

Despite the absolutely brutal loss of ace and All-Star Mike Soroka to a torn Achilles tendon, the Atlanta Braves have been the best team in the NL East.

Marcell Ozuna has been a fantastic addition and is slugging well for Atlanta. Dansby Swanson is playing the best he ever has and is driving in a lot of runs. All-Stars Ozzie Albies and Ronald Acuna are off to slow starts, but could quickly turn the corner, which would make this team even more dangerous.

Max Fried and other young starters need step up to make this team a real threat in the playoffs. Losing Soroka was a big blow to their already thin pitching staff.

7. Cleveland Indians (8-6)

Besides being ace material, Shane Bieber has been a front-runner for the AL Cy Young Award this season. He is a strikeout machine and has been a doing fantastic for Cleveland. Carlos Carrasco and Mike Clevinger have been contributing greatly for the club.

Jose Ramirez has looked like his younger self as of recently. He is slugging and moving well. Francisco Lindor has been slugging as well. Ceasar Hernandez has turned out to be a great signing, hitting above .300 and playing decent in the field.

8. Colorado Rockies (9-3)

Colorado has finally found a pitcher worthy of calling an ace. German Marquez has been outstanding through the first fifth of the season. Through three starts, he has a 1.89 ERA and 23 strikeouts through 19 innings, while only walking five batters. If he keeps this up, he will make the Rockies a serious contender to make the playoffs.

Nolan Arenado already had three home run, but is not hitting as well he usually does. Despite that, his defense has been as good as ever. He is on-pace to win another Gold Glove. Trevor Story has been carrying their offense. Charlie Blackmon, Daniel Murphy, and Matt Kemp have all been contributing to their offense.

9. Chicago White Sox (7-6)

Perhaps one of the more disappointing teams of this season, the Chicago White Sox are doing well, but not great.

Leury Garcia has been a surprising slugger for the team on the Southside. He and Eloy Jimenez lead the team in home runs. Yasmani Grandal has yet to go deep. Yoan Moncada and Luis Robert have been doing great at the plate.

Alex Colome, Evan Marshall, Ross Detwiler and Matt Foster have pitched a combined 23.1  innings of relief without allowing a run, truly impeccable. They have made up for a sloppy starting rotation. Dallas Keuchel has been stellar, but Lucas Giolito has been fairly disappointing, same with Gio Gonzalez and Carlos Rodon.

This team is doing alright for now, but could either excel or implode.

10. Houston Astros (6-6)

Houston’s offense has been explosive yet again, even under the new regime of veteran skipper Dusty Baker. They lead the American League in runs scored. Carlos Correa has been hitting .386 thus far. George Spring, Alex Bregman, and Jose Altuve have not been consistent, but have slugged for the Astros.

Justin Verlander has one good start, but is back to battling injury. Houston has had nine pitchers make their debut in the teams first 11 games of the year.The team’s pitching is weaker than it has been in a while and basically has not depth. Zack Greinke needs to step up as the veteran in this rotation and put together the impressive season everybody knows he is capable of.

The Thunder were coming off their first loss of the season against Denver. It didn’t help that the next opponent would be the number one team in the Western Conference LA Lakers. This Thunder team has made believers out of everyone all season long and in Orlando, they’ve proved everyone wrong. The Thunder played against the Lakers tonight without Dennis Schröder, Mike Muscala, and Terrence Ferguson in the lineup. Chris Paul came to the rescue in this one as he set the tone from the tipoff against the Lakers. One thing about Chris Paul’s game that stands out is the fact he can get his teammates involved while getting his game going too.

 

Tonight CP3 showed that he can do anything on the court and it didn’t matter if you had a big defender on him or a smaller defender. The way that Chris’ able to crossover players and still get to his sweet mid-range spot on a nightly basis is amazing. Paul has had an amazing year and a lot of that has gone to his new diet coming into the season. This Thunder team will go as far as CP3 brings them and he showed that OKC can hang with the best teams in the league. Chris Paul finished the game with 21 points, 6 assists, 7 rebounds on the night against LA. The Lakers gave Chris Paul a couple of looks on the defensive end but they weren’t enough to slow him down.

 

 

Chris Paul’s leadership has been on full display and it’s been rubbing off on Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in the right way. Shai had a quiet game tonight with 13 points but still was able to get people involved. One thing about Shai is the fact that he can affect the stat sheet without having the big numbers pop out. With Chris playing the point guard it’s been giving Shai multiple chances to defend players at different positions. Shai wants to be great and has shown that he’s willing to put the time in to make that possible.

 

Danilo Gallinari had a nice game as well for the Thunder as he was able to pour in 19 points in only 25 minutes. Gallinari has been a great help to the team especially with the absence of Dennis Schröder. The Thunder has a mismatch at the PF position usually when Gallinari is on the floor because he can score from outside to inside on any possession. When Gallinari is hitting his 3 pointers which he did tonight against the Lakers it makes this team tough to beat. The Lakers had Kuzma and Davis on him the majority of the night and he was still able to find a crease in the defense to make his offense stand out.

 

The Thunder had a minor scare when Steven Adams got tangled up and fell awkwardly but he was able to come back in the game and make his presence felt. Steven Adams was the best big on the floor tonight and was able to get his jump hook going as he finished with 18 points. This Thunder team has shown a lot of heart and they’ve proven a lot of people wrong this year. If the Thunder can continue to play with this flow of the offense and take the defensive end as serious as they have all season they are destined for greatness.

 

The Lakers were a bit banged up tonight but that’s no excuse for the OKC eruption that came their way. When LeBron James and Anthony Davis are in the lineup no matter who you’re playing against you have a chance to win. The Thunder got Anthony Davis in some early foul trouble that had the Lakers leaning on the bench and LeBron a lot. OKC was able to force the referees into making some calls tonight that helped them by their aggressiveness. On the night LeBron finished with quiet 19 points and 11 rebounds against OKC.

 

Once Davis got in foul trouble you can tell that LeBron was going to have to try to pick up the load but with multiple defenders on him, it wore him down a little. Anthony Davis only had 9 points after he erupted for 42 points the other night and that was because OKC got him in foul trouble from the tip. The second player from the Lakers that was able to put in some work tonight and help out was Dion Waiters. On the night Waiters had 14 points and was able to get it going but it was already too late as OKC pulled away.

 

 

Up next the OKC Thunder will take on the Memphis Grizzlies who are currently in 8th place on Friday at 3 pm.

We have seen some high-quality basketball out of the NBA’s restart, games have been extremely competitive and relatively high scoring making them very exciting to watch.

There have been some pretty impressive individual offensive performances in these first 3 games in Orlando, but none better than a man by the name of Tony Warren Jr. of the Indiana Pacers. TJ Warren leads the bubble in scoring with 119 points in 3 games (39.7 PPG). He’s shooting 65.3 FG% and 60.9 3P%, while also having a bubble-best +59 +/-.

Warren has undoubtedly been the best player for the Pacers in the return. He has led every game in points and helped Indiana improve to 3-0 in the bubble. Warren’s offensive surge is much needed for this team who is without their only All-Star in Domantas Sabonis. They were going to need someone to really step up and take more of an offensive responsibility and it turns out TJ is that player for them. The consistency in how Warren is scoring the ball is what stands out the most. Warren had definitely shown flashes in his ability this season prior, but he’s not just showing flashes, he’s putting on demonstrations.

 

 

 

 

 

Warren scored 32 Points on Tuesday night against the Orlando Magic with 21 coming in the first half while Shooting %100 from the field…yeah he didn’t miss a shot. He was 3-3 from 3 in the first half Tuesday night against the Magic, ultimately leading them to the 120-109 Victory for the Pacers.

Warren has led the Pacers to become one of the hottest teams in the Orlando bubble and now is being held to the standard of some former all-time great Pacers. After he erupted for 53 points in his career-high on Saturday against the Philadelphia 76ers, Warren now holds a Pacers scoring record. Think about how impressive this is for a moment after considering this is a franchise that had Reggie Miller, who is a top 5 three-point shooter of all time. As mentioned, Warren has tallied 119 points in those three games, tying the team record for most points in that span. This record is shared with another all-time great Pacer in Jermaine O’Neal.

 

 

At 6’8 Warren has displayed he can score the ball on all three levels. He has done a tremendous job of getting to the spots he wants on the floor to score. He’s really been able to score in whatever way he’s wanted in this three-game stretch. everything seems to be clicking offensively and it that means, even more, when you’re as versatile of a player as Warren is. Because he shoots the ball so well and has been shooting even better in Orlando, he is able to get a lot of his points simply in the flow of the Pacer offense. The rhythm he gets in just in there offense has really seemed to open up his game and you have to Give Pacer Head Coach Nate McMillian credit for this as he has put TJ Warren in situations within the offense to make high percentage plays offensively. He’s been in the pick and roll, isolated on the wing, posted on the block, and has even set an occasional pick and pop screens but defenses have not had an answer for Warren.

 

 

There is no telling how long TJ Warren will be able to keep playing at the level he is at. With the condensed bubble schedule I certainly hope we see it for at least the rest fo the Indiana Pacers season as I’m sure they do too but there is really no telling. Some of Warren’s bubble emergence has had a little “Linsanity” vibe to but that would really discredit his play from this past year which was very notable. He averaged 19.7 points per game this year before the bubble and as crazy as it is for him to scored 53 points in an NBA game its never been that he hasn’t been capable. Warren has really taken advantage of the absences of Sabonis. As long as he is out, The Pacers to keep going to him to find their offense.

“The ball is finding him and he’s knocking down a high percentage of his shots,” Pacers coach Nate McMillan said. “(He’s) just really efficient.”
