Lavar Ball Pulls LiAngelo Out Of UCLA Over Suspension, Plans To Get Him Ready For NBA Draft

Celebs

LiAngelo Ball hadn’t stepped on the court for UCLA this season and now he never will, thanks to his father, Lavar. The Elder Ball pulled his son out of school and there are no plans to try and enroll him elsewhere. The plan, according to Lavar, is to get “Gelo” ready for the NBA draft.

“I’m going to make him way better for the draft than UCLA ever could have,” he said.

“He’s not transferring to another school,” he told ESPN. “The plan is now to get Gelo ready for the NBA draft.”

Lavar is reportedly upset with UCLA for the indefinite suspension they gave to LiAngelo and the other two players who were caught stealing in China.  “I’m not sitting back and waiting,” LaVar Ball told ESPN. “He wasn’t punished this bad in China. We get back over here and the consequences were even stiffer than China. So basically they’re in jail here.”

In fact, Lavar removed LiAngelo from the school without notifying anyone related to the UCLA basketball program.  “I haven’t told any of those guys,” Lavar said. “They didn’t tell me anything, so why am I gonna tell them.”

Eventually coach Steve Alford was made aware of what’s going on and released a statement. “We learned today of LiAngelo Ball’s intention to withdraw from UCLA,” Alford said. “We respect the decision he and his family have made, and we wish him all the best in the future.”

Lavar seems somewhat delusional with the whole process of his son being suspended. Sure it was just a young, dumb mistake by LiAngelo, but for Lavar to think the whole thing was just going to go away soon and his son would only be suspended a few games is not realistic.

As part of his suspension, UCLA took away his meal card and he hasn’t been allowed to practice or travel with the team. Even before all of this happened, it was clear that LiAngelo was going to be coming off the bench for the Bruins, which was also something that didn’t sit well with Lavar. “They had him there just to use the Ball family name. They were going to keep the best shooter on the team coming off the bench? That’s like telling the Clippers back in the day not to play JJ Redick,” LaVar Ball said.

What happens now with LiAngelo is anyone’s guess. He wasn’t highly rated by any NBA scout, even before the incident in China happened, this according to Adrian Wojnarowski. This will also likely change the plans of the youngest brother, LaMelo, attending UCLA as well, which he had already committed to starting in 2019.

It’s never a boring day when Lavar Ball is involved.

Review: Unruly Citizens Presents Post Malone to Oklahoma City

Review: Unruly Citizens Presents Post Malone to Oklahoma City

Celebs

Post Malone has been buzzing in the music industry for a long time now after his smash hit White Iverson. The UnRuly Citizens brought out Post Malone in front of a sold out crowd. The best thing about the concert was the way that he was so genuine with his fans. Post Malone greeted all of his fans before the show and took pictures with everyone. Post was one of the most humble artists that I’ve ever covered at a concert and he put on a show that was extremely amazing. The concert overall was a huge success as Post Malone performed his hits “White Iverson, Congratulations, and Rockstar”. He had the crowd engaged the whole evening and even though the sound was messing up he still managed to make the best of it. Post Malone had a versatile style that I’ve never saw before live in concert. He played guitar and also was able to transition from rap to country with no problems at all. He was able to capture the crowd even with the diversity which was extremely impressive. Post Malone is an incredible artist and I would definitely go check him out again. The best part was when he broke the microphone stand and tossed the microphone because at that point the crowd went nuts.

Check Out The Concert Video Below

Post Malone was a great performer and he was prompt and on time which is huge in the music industry. The presentation was pretty impressive as well as he had his “Stoney” set up with the western look with a wooden bar stand. Overall the performance was amazing and I would tell anyone that wants a great show to check him out. He was dancing to hip hop and he was singing country which proves he has his own lane in the music industry and he’s capitalising on the moment in front of him.

Eminem Goes Off On Donald Trump During BET Cypher, Lebron James & Colin Kaepernick Approve

Eminem Goes Off On Donald Trump During BET Cypher, Lebron James & Colin Kaepernick Approve

Celebs

In case you been living under a rock for the past 12 hours or so, you missed Eminem completely go off on President Donald Trump during “The Cypher” at the BET Hip-Hop awards.  It was the first time we heard from Em in quite a while and it was also the first time we really heard how he feels about the president and the current situation in our country.

In case you haven’t seen it yet, give it a watch below.

Em made it clear he is here to support guys like Colin Kaepernick and to support the social injustices that have been occurring in higher volumes since Trump took office. He even made sure to mention the love and respect he has for the military so nobody could try and twist his words about that. While you may or may not agree with the stance he is taking, Em is drawing the line with his fans who also support Trump, which I’m sure has plenty of them feeling conflicted.

Two guys who were definitely fans of what Eminem had to say were Lebron James and not surprising, Colin Kaepernick, who both took to twitter to show their support and thanks.

While I’m sure Em’s bars upset some people around the country, it’s also fair to say that many more athletes besides Lebron & Colin are in full support of him. It’s also fair to say he doesn’t care what anyone thinks and I wouldn’t have expected anything less from him.
