Chris Paul, Phoenix Suns (SneakerReporter Top 10 PEs Series)

Featured

Chris Paul’s one of the best NBA Point Guards of all time. If I was starting an NBA team and I needed someone that I know can lead my team to greatness it would be CP3. Last season Chris and the Suns didn’t get back to the NBA Finals like the previous year but they brought back DeAndre Ayton. Chris Paul has been able to get the best out of Devin Booker and DeAndre Ayton since arriving in Phoenix. Chris Paul averaged 14.7 PPG and 10.8 AST in the 2022-2023 season. Chris has the skillset that is rare to find in the NBA now because he can pass at the highest level while getting to his spot to score at will. CP3 is a sure Hall of Famer and will be able to get the Suns in a position to win a lot of games on a yearly basis. Chris Paul has been practically unstoppable since he started his vegan diet. CP3 has been able to play the most minutes per game last season since 2014.

Chris Paul has one of the best Jordan collections in existence. Also, CP3 is one of a very select few players that have been able to have their own sneakers with Jordan Brand. Chris Paul has some of the best Air Jordan PEs of all time and he was able to rock the CP3.XII/CP3.XIII this past season. Below we showcase some of the PEs that CP3 has rocked over the years that we wish hit the public.

Primetime Preview: Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Dallas Cowboys (SNF Week 1)

Primetime Preview: Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Dallas Cowboys (SNF Week 1)

Featured

The NFL can’t get enough of Tom Brady vs the Dallas Cowboys during Week 1. Last year the Tampa Bay Buccaneers squeaked out a win vs the Cowboys 31-29. Both teams have a lot of expectations coming into the 2022 season. The Cowboys feel like they were Super Bowl favorites last year but they just didn’t get to come through against the 49ers due to time management. The Buccaneers felt the same way but ran into the eventual Super Bowl Champion LA Rams. Tampa Bay thought they lost Tom Brady to retirement this offseason and in GOAT fashion TB12 said not yet. This year the Dallas Cowboys will try to put a W in the win column for Week 1. The Buccaneers won’t have Gronk, AB, or Coach Bruce and the Cowboys moved Cooper to Cleveland. So this will be an epic game that will be marked on everyone’s radar for Sunday Night.

Tom Brady will be leading this new-look Bucs offense on Sunday Night against the Cowboys. Tom Brady had 5,316 passing yards with 43 touchdowns last season. This year the wide receiver room will be different but the Bucs were able to add Julio Jones. Julio Jones aka “Waffle House” signed with the Buccaneers for 1 year/$6 Million. Tom Brady getting another weapon like Julio will help open things up for Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and even Lombardi Lenny. Tom Brady is a master when it comes to reading defenses and he will be trying to stay away from Micah Parsons and that Dallas defensive attack. Tom Brady doesn’t look like he’s missed a step and he’s been clicking on all levels with new coach Todd Bowles. The Buccaneers will be getting a healthy Chris Godwin back and this offense will be looking sharp. Last year Mike Evans notched his 8th season in a row with over 1,000+ receiving yards. Leonard Fournette grew as a receiving back and still showcased his power back standards. As long as the core of the offense is there the Buccaneers will have a chance to get to the Super Bowl.

The Buccaneer’s defense has been a tough defense for any offense to face. The Bucs don’t give up much on the defensive end and they do just enough to help the offense out. The Buccaneer’s defense was ranked 5th in the NFL last season and will be looking to make things tough for the Cowboys. The defense will be moving the way that Lavonte David, Devin White, and Will Gholston move because he’s one of the pass rushers that sets the tone. You add Akiem Hicks to the mix as well and they have a team that can really get after opposing quarterbacks. Then you have a strong secondary with Carlton Davis III that will be ball hawks. The Bucs will be trying to slow down Dak, Zeke, and Lamb because those are the players that make that Cowboys offense move. If they can contain those 3 players then the Bucs can win this game tonight with ease.

The Dallas Cowboys always have the this is the year hype going into a season. Dak Prescott will be the guy that gets it done for them if it’s going to become a reality. Last year Dak threw for 4,449 passing yards with 37 touchdowns. Dak will have to deal with the Bucs defense on Sunday Night. One thing that Dak has improved on throughout the years is the fact that he doesn’t have to depend on his legs. The pocket presence that Dak has shown over this timeframe has been impressive and he will make sure to shred the Bucs tonight. Ezekiel Elliott is looking to have a bounce-back year after only having 1,002 yards on the ground. It will be tough for Zeke to get some running lanes against the Buccaneer’s defense because they’re stacked. With no Amari Cooper anymore in Dallas, the stage will be set for Ceedee Lamb to be the main guy. Look for Ceedee Lamb to take his next step as an elite talent in the NFL and he will be trying to make that secondary look crazy. Last year Lamb had 79 catches for 1,102 yards and he will be looking to get over that 1,500 mark this year starting against Tampa.

The Cowboy’s defense will have their hands full with the Buccaneer’s offense. The Cowboys have two players that just make it tough on anyone’s opponent Micah Parsons & Trevon Diggs. Tonight Diggs will be all over Mike Evans trying to make it tough on him. Diggs went crazy last season leading the league in interceptions with 11 and 2 touchdowns as well. Trevon is a ball hawk and he was able to make plays for the Cowboys that set the offense up nice. It’s going to be a true challenge for Diggs to pick off Tom Brady but he will be up for it. Now Micah Parsons on the inside is a PROBLEM. Parsons will be trying to get that Defensive Player of the Year this season and he will start that campaign against Tampa. Parsons has the quickness and the explosive moves that can get him to a quarterback. The issue is tonight he’s playing against Tom Brady and he gets that ball out quicker than we’ve seen. The Cowboys will need those two players to lead the way on defense and everyone else to follow.

Prediction: The Tampa Buccaneers will win this game 34 – 24 against the Cowboys. Tom Brady came back for one reason and that’s to win a championship. Brady will shred that Cowboys defense up and he will get his wide receivers involved early and quickly. The Bucs defense will do just enough to keep the Cowboys in check but look for both teams to meet sometime down the road in the postseason.

Malik Monk, Sacramento Kings (SneakerReporter Top 10 PEs Series)

Featured

Malik Monk has emerged as one of the bright young stars in the NBA. Last year in LA with the Lakers he was able to showcase a lot of the talent that people have been waiting for from his Kentucky days. Monk had himself a great season and in free agency ended up going to the Sacramento Kings to reunite with his college teammate De’Aaron Fox. On the court, Malik Monk has a quick first step and he is a walking bucket. He hoops in Kobes and has some player exclusives that definitely turn heads on a nightly basis.

Check out some of the Player Exclusives he rocked while wearing the Purple/Gold in the 2021-2022 season.

The Minnesota Timberwolves Sign CJ Elleby & Luka Garza

The Minnesota Timberwolves Sign CJ Elleby & Luka Garza

Featured

The Minnesota Timberwolves signed CJ Elleby and Luka Garza to the roster on Tuesday. CJ played in Portland and was able to showcase some talent with extended minutes. Down the stretch of the NBA season last year CJ stepped up big time for the Trail Blazers and was able to display his raw talent. CJ started 28 of the last 30 games for Portland and made the best of the situation that was in front of him. One thing about CJ he has a smooth jumper and he can definitely slash to the basket.

Elleby can be a great addition to this team as they’re looking to build some depth around the Big 4 (Towns, Gobert, Russell, Edwards) that Minnesota has now established. Elleby just needs the opportunity and Minnesota can be that spot that brings out the best in his abilities. During the 2021-2022 season, CJ Elleby scored his career-high 17 points against the New Orleans Pelicans. That was a prime example of how things can be with the Timberwolves when given the chance to play with extended minutes.

Luka Garza has been impactful since stepping foot in the NBA. He finally has a chance to play for a Minnesota team that can utilize his talents. This is a perfect fit for Luka to get a chance to help this Timberwolves frontcourt, especially with the second unit. Last season Luka Garza played for the Motor City Cruise last season and averaged 20.6 PPG and 9.5 REB. Luka Garza’s career high in points is 20 and he had that three times in his career.

Garza showed a lot of promise in his rookie year and he made his name in the NBA Summer League where he looked unstoppable. Now Luka will need to make that same impact in the NBA season with Minnesota. The Timberwolves will give Luka a chance to help bolster the bench and he can dominate on the boards. This was a great signing and the Timberwolves giving Garza an opportunity to showcase his talent is all that he needs to make the final roster after training camp.

Kevin Durant, Brooklyn Nets (SneakerReporter Top 10 PEs Series)

Kevin Durant, Brooklyn Nets (SneakerReporter Top 10 PEs Series)

Featured

In my humble opinion, Kevin Durant’s the best player in the NBA, and I’m not scared to let it be known. From covering KD in person back in Oklahoma City to watching him emerge as the best scorer even after an Achilles injury. Kevin Durant has been the best offensive scorer in the NBA and it’s not even close. The things that this man can do on the court are unmatched and he’s utterly un-guardable regarding his skill set. KD has the one-legged jumper in his arsenal, his quick crossover, and he can pull up from anywhere on the court with his towering wingspan. In 55 games this season Kevin Durant averaged 29.9 PPG, 7.4 REB, and 6.4 AST on the Brooklyn Nets. Any team that KD gets on automatically makes them a title contender and he will give you a chance to get far.

This season the Brooklyn Nets didn’t get out of the first round against the Boston Celtics but Kevin Durant still showed that he was the best player in the series by getting double-teamed/triple-teamed at times. It wasn’t the way that KD wanted the season to end but it was a small bump in the road as he continues his quest to get another championship. This offseason has been crazy with Kevin Durant demanding a trade from the Brooklyn Nets so it will be interesting to see how this works out during the offseason. Any team in the NBA would want KD in their uniform and if I’m a GM I’m doing whatever it takes to get EasyMoneySniper in my jersey. If you have a chance to get a once-in-a-lifetime talent you have to do anything and I mean anything to make it happen.

Kevin Durant’s one of the faces of Nike Basketball and he’s one of 4 players to have over 10 silhouettes in his career. He joined Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and LeBron James. Kevin played in the Nike KD14/Nike KD 15 last season in Brooklyn and his 15th sneaker has a lot of the potential to be one of the best in his line. This season we will see KD lace the Nike 15 up on the court and we will be looking forward to the player exclusives that he rocks.
