Saturday NFL Week 15: Scores and Predictions

Saturday NFL Week 15: Scores and Predictions

Featured

Indianapolis Colts Vs Minnesota Vikings

Saturday NFL Football will be having three games but the first game will be a cross conference matchup between the (4-8-1) Indianapolis Colts vs the (10-3) Minnesota Vikings. This game will kickoff at 12:00 PM central daylight time.

The Colts are fresh off a bye week but last time they stepped foot on the field they lost  54-19 to the Dallas Cowboys two weeks ago. The Colts aren’t exactly out of playoff contention; they would have to win the rest of the year to have a chance at a wildcard spot but with a loss it’s essentially season over for the Colts. The season has been a tough one for the Colts since they released their head coach and replaced him with Jeff Saturday during the Mid season. The Colts offense has struggled to throw the ball and Jonathan Taylor hasn’t been able to get it going on the ground.

The Vikings come off a 34-24 loss to the Detroit Lions who pulled off an upset victory. With the Vikings sitting atop of the division and a (10-3) record they are essentially guaranteed a playoff spot, a victory against the Colts would only solidify their playoff spot even more. The Vikings offense has been what they’ve relied on to win games, Kirk Cousins passed for 425 yards and two passing touchdowns against the Lions. Justin Jefferson also had himself a day with 223 yards receiving, but for the Vikings the problem is mainly defense as they have allowed their opponents to keep themselves in the game. The Vikings defense will have to step up in order for them to win.

A matchup that is rarely seen could prove to be important for both teams as the Colts look to win out the rest of their games and the Vikings only solidifying their Playoff hopes.

Score Prediction: Vikings win (24-10)

Baltimore Ravens Vs Cleveland Browns

The (9-4) Baltimore Ravens will be going up against their division rivals the Cleveland Browns who are (5-8) on the season. This game will kickoff at 3:30 PM central daylight time.

The Ravens will be without Lamar Jackson who is still out with an injury, the Ravens were however able to get a 16-14 victory against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Ravens have struggled to keep the lead in lost games but as of late they’ve been able to hold it down, as for the defense they’ll need to play better and limit the Browns run game. The Ravens are currently tied for first place in the AFC North division and with a victory it could only improve their chances of winning the division.

Quarterback Deshaun Watson will get the start yet again, Watson has slowly eased his way into the team as he hasn’t had bad performances. Where the Browns really strive is their run game with Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt carrying the workload as well as the defense playing solid football against opposing NFL offenses. Wide receivers Amari Cooper and Donovan Peoples-Jones have also been a bright spot on this offense, if the Browns want to win this game they’ll have to find the right balance between running the ball and passing the ball.

An AFC North matchup between the Ravens and Browns is always a treat as both teams look to chase a playoff spot.

Score Prediction: Ravens Win (17-14)

Miami Dolphins Vs Buffalo Bills

An AFC East Divisional matchup between the (8-5) Miami Dolphins and the (10-3) Buffalo Bills on Saturday Night Football could possibly be the game of the week. This game is slated to have snow and negative degree weather.

The Dolphins were able to win the first matchup against the Bills earlier in the season in which they won 21-19 and they’ll look to win this game so they can be only one game behind first place in their division. The Dolphins aren’t used to the cold weather so this will be something to look out for. The Dolphins did lose their last matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers 23-17 and are looking to bounce back. The Dolphins defense will have to double team Stephon Diggs as he’s been one of the league’s best and limit Josh Allen’s ability to run the ball. With snow forecasted the Dolphins will look to rely on the run game or short passes to star wideout Tyreek Hill.

The Bills came off a 20-12 win against the New York Jets which extended their win streak to four. Josh Allen and the Bills offense have been great through the Air but through the ground they haven’t been able to get anything going as their rushing game hasn’t been there to rely on in key situations. But the Bills trust Allen’s arm to get them victories and also rely on Diggs who has been playing at a high level this season. The defense will be without Von Miller which is a big blow to that defense as he is a veteran leader to that Bills defense. It will be interesting to see if the Bills defense can continue their dominant defensive schemes and pull through with a victory.

With a Bills win they could solidify first place in the AFC East division and punch their ticket to the playoffs but with a Dolphins win they’ll only be one game short of first place and hold the head to head matchup over the Bills.

Score Prediction: Dolphins Win (24-21)

Primetime Preview: San Francisco 49ers Vs Seattle Seahawks (TNF Week 15)

Primetime Preview: San Francisco 49ers Vs Seattle Seahawks (TNF Week 15)

Featured

Week 15 of the NFL season will kick off with a divisional matchup between the (9-4) San Francisco 49ers and the (7-6) Seattle Seahawks on Thursday night football.

The 49ers come into this game fresh off a 35-7 victory against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The 49ers are on a six game winning streak and are leading their division with the Seahawks right behind them. Many people believed the season was over for the 49ers when veteran quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo went down with an injury, but Brock Purdy has stepped up in his last two starts he has beaten the Miami Dolphins and Buccaneers. Despite Purdy getting the job done the offense has clicked on all cylinders and has been playing effectively. Star Wideout Deebo Samuel is questionable heading into the game against the Seahawks with an ankle injury. On the opposite end of the ball for the 49ers the defense has been lights out and has forced opposing quarterbacks into uncomfortable situations. Last week the 49ers defense forced Brady to throw two interceptions while only allowing 235 passing yards. The 49ers defense will have to keep playing elite  against the Seahawks to stay atop of the NFC West Division.

The Seahawks come off a tough 30-24 loss against the Carolina Panthers. The Seahawks will look to win this game and stay in contention to win the division as they are two games behind the 49ers, they currently hold a wildcard spot but with a loss it could be costly in a competitive NFC Conference. Geno Smith has led this Seahawks offense all year and has played better than most expected. Despite Smith doing it all for the Seahawks offense, they’ve dealt with injuries at the running back position. With DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett as wideouts this offense could be dangerous given the right circumstances but they are facing a tough 49ers Defense. As for the Seahawks defense they’ve been struggling allowing many points to opposing teams, they’ve also struggled against the run game as they’ve allowed almost every team they’ve played to run all over them. If the Seahawks want to win the game they’ll need to step on defense and get the 49ers offense off the field as quickly as possible.

A NFC west battle between the 49ers and Seahawks with the division on the line could potentially be the game of the week. This game will kickoff at 7:15 Central Daylight Time on Amazon Prime Video.

Score Prediction: Seahawks win (21-17)
